Welcome to Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist in Knoxville, Tennessee. We are truly blessed by your presence and participation in our virtual faith community. In Matthew 28: 19, Jesus gave us our mandate: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." Given this divine mandate, our Christian spiritual life is expressed through the demonstration of love by servicing others. It is my hope that this website will inform you of the many programs and organizations at our church.

Additionally, it is important to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ for a fuller life. It is my desire that you make that connection. If there is anything we can do to help you on this journey, we look forward to the opportunity. If you do not have a church home or have not attended any church for a while, we would welcome you to visit us. We pray that we may be a blessing to you.
